For those who wish to enjoy a special cruise in the mainland of Greece we offer this opportunity. Blue lagoon for swimming in clear crystal blue waters, and Parga, a picturesque cosmopolitan town with natural beauty and calm bays.
Departing from Corfu new port in the morning we sail direct to one of the most beautiful gulfs of Greece, the Blue Lagoon, where a part of the famous movie “Blue Lagoon” was filmed. According to history, Arab pirates used to dock in that gulf during the Middle Ages. There is the first stop for swimming. We stay there for approximately over an hour so you have the opportunity to enjoy the blue-green crystal waters. A snack meal is also available and served onboard that is included in the price. After that the cruiser will sail in the spectacular cave of blue lagoon which was a hideaway for Greek Submarines during WW II.
The next destination is the wonderful small town of Parga that despite the fact that it is in the mainland has an island character, a vast and eventful history, rare natural beauty, romantic and iconic small streets and pathways and the remains of a Venetian Castle. Your free time in Parga is approximately 2 1/5 hours, plenty of time for exploring the narrow streets of the town, swim in the shallow clear waters or enjoy a meal or a refreshment in one of the seaside tavernas.
Important Notice
This cruise is organized and run by Joy Cruises. You can buy tickets in our office. The departure of the cruise is from the new port of Corfu. From Kassiopi there is a complementary coach transfer that is offered by that company and departs at 07.00 in the morning. The pick-up point for the transfer will be written in your ticket and you should be there on time. Kassiopi Travel Service is not responsible for replacing that transfer in case you miss it.
Full Day Trip (Starts at 07.00 and return in Kassiopi around 20.00) – First stop in the Blue Lagoon for swimming is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes- Stop in the caves of Blue Lagoon is approximately 20 minutes – Stop in Parga is approximately 2 hours and 30 minutes – The snack/meal that is offered and is included in the price consists of 2 chicken souvlaki, Greek salad, tzatziki, slice of bread and a glass of wine or juice – Capacity on board approximately 200 people.
