This is an ultimate cruise to visit 2 of the most well-known spots of Corfu Island, Vidos Island and the island of Pontikonisi (incorrectly known by many as the mouse island).
Set off from Kassiopi harbor, arriving at Vidos Island about an hour later. The islet of Vidos lies right opposite Corfu Old Harbour. This islet is small in size but has yet many special types of flora and fauna around it, thus it is protected as a nature reserve. In the ancient times, this island was known as Pythia or the island of Hera. A strong fort, also used as a prison, was built there by the French but was destroyed by the British.
Pontikonisi, is one of the most famous sights of the Ionian and for many years the brand image of Corfu Island. It’s a small rocky island with vegetation, tall cypress trees and an interesting shape near the famous tourist attraction, the Monastery of Vlacherena.
During your sail have your cameras ready as we pass attractive spots such as Corfu’s Old Fortress, Garitsa gulf, the Mon Repos Palace, birthplace of Philip, Duke of Edinburgh and many others.
Please note that we only moor to the islet of Vidos where you can get off the boat and spend some time on, and we approach the Pontikonisi as close as possible where a cold buffet is served onboard with free wine, all included in the price.
On your way back there is a main stop in a beach where you have plenty of time for water sports, sunbathing, swimming or enjoy a nice meal in one of the beach front tavernas. (These are not included in the price).
